We will paddle the Chippewa River, between Eau Claire and Wabasha, exact location depends on which retreat you participate in and current water and river conditions. The 2 night retreat typically is Caryville to Durand and the 4 night retreat is Eau Claire to Wabasha, 62 miles!
We will carry all our gear with us and set up camp each night on the beaches along the Chippewa!
It's beautiful, it's remote, it's soul filling!
For the 2 night Women Empowerment Kayak Retreat - absolutely not! Come as you are and we will learn together. This is a relaxing, wellness and meditation filled retreat that anyone can enjoy. Know your body - can you sit in a kayak for up two hours at a time without discomfort - if the answer is yes - this retreat is for you!
For the 4-night Women Rock the River Kayak Retreat - some experience is needed. The waters are calm, but we will be kayaking for 5 days and sleeping in tents 4 nights. This retreat is still filled with many breaks, daily meditations and we are never paddling more than 2 hours without a break. Breaks will refuel your mind, soul and body with reflection time and amazing food!
You can do this!!
Through women empowerment retreats and Soul Yes Coaching I walk along side of you as you navigate what's holding you back from living a life filled with your Soul Yeses
What is "Soul Yes" you ask??
What gives you purpose? What excites you? What fills your cup? What simply put...gives you joy, happiness and worth?
These things, my friends, are your Soul Yeses!!
A renewed sense of direction. Fresh perspectives that inspire curiosity. Deep realization of who you truly are.
A state of stress and overwhelm. Searching for clarity in your next steps. Wanting to pursue what lights you up.
I don't believe in a one-size fits all approach. Everybody's story is different, the trials and joys you've experienced will alter the way coaching will work for you.
A lifetime of ebbs and flows, learning through loss (a lot of loss) and appreciating stillness eventually led me to coaching through retreats, motivational speaking and individual coaching. I left the field of traditional social work after being in the field for 20+ years to find a new and different way to serve myself and others.
I use both my personal and professional experience to guide, support, motivate and shine light on those seeking a newer, better, more authentic path.
(and how monumentally impossible it seems at times).
"I already have! Several friends I have in mind to invite next season."
Would you recommend a Retreat by Jessica?
How would you describe Jessica's Retreats?
"Jess takes care of EVERYTHING on her kayak retreats. She cultivates a safe space (both physically and emotionally) to enjoy time in nature and time in community. I can't wait to join her again on the Chippewa!"
Women Empowerment Kayak Retreats
"Jessica’s guided retreats offer a remarkable blend of personal support, joyful connection, meaningful self-reflection, and a sense of being truly valued. Over the course of just two days, I stepped outside my comfort zone, embraced new challenges, and left feeling both proud of my growth and deeply cared for. It was a transformative experience that I would enthusiastically recommend to anyone seeking renewal, empowerment, and genuine connection.

Definitely not! For the 2 night Women's Empowerment retreat all experience levels are welcome! For the 4 night adventure retreat some experience is necessary, as you need to know you are able to paddle a longer distance.
